So my opinion about what's on the porno board is invalid, because I like porno? Maybe my opinion is not as weighty as some, as I am an outsider with <500 posts, and a relative geezer at 51. That's why it was a one liner.
Moral issues aside, I still know from hard experience that racist humor like that displayed recently was lame and tired in 1983. That's just true.
Should it be banned from the board? I dunno. The single issue poster banned last night, was an over the top case. Even Archie Bunker had an entire assortment of other things going on, besides racial prejudice. And there is a fine line between racial and racist humor.
I know the remedy for hate speech is more speech by tolerant people like me. Sadly, it is hard to find humor in bigotry, it is just pitiful.
