There was real venom aimed at Tritone, but, IMO, that was more a reaction his own intolerance and single-mindedness than anything else.

Whatever racism was there was ancillary, as it was his own pet bugaboo. If his thing had been the Freemasons or people with one leg shorter than the other, people would have posted about that, just to fuck with him.

It's when it lost that context that it got out of hand.
