It isn't dip because it is packed in little pouches, a little like tea bags. There is loose snus but I don't think it's being aggressively marketed in the US. The loose stuff takes quite a bit of getting used to and when I had it the stuff seemed even finer cut than Copenhagen "Fine Cut".

I dont ride busses or trains I have and have seen people get high and drunk and masterbate on the bus but never knit or chew snus. I always secretly wished I knew how to knit, I dont have the patience plus I feel it will age me. Snus sounds like it will have that effect aswell.

Wouldnt people get hurt knitting on a moving bus/train? Maybe thats what the metrolink driver was doing when they crashed.

I have only had the Swedish snus that I imported myself. By law it is only supposed to have tobacco, water, salt (and in some cases natural flavors). I am sure the Americans have loused that up somehow though.

I haven't been smoking anything because my dealer has switched over from selling weed to mostly baked goods. I have been eating lots of cookies.

Knitting needles on the bus aren't such a big risk considering all the other shit that is going on. I would wager that parents pushing around SUV sized strollers through the bus and subway system are responsible for more injuries then anyone knitting.
