Have you ever requested a PCR-DNA HIV test at your doctor's office? How much did the lab work cost you? How did they treat you there? How easily can you exchange test results with other performers or find out when their last test was? How quickly did you get your test results? A few days later or weeks or months later?

Come on, it's actually practical to want to keep a service you are content with when a new service's results and practices are uncertain and very possibly worse.

I'm not defending AIM necessarily, I don't know anything about anything when it comes to rumors of corruption, but I am defending my friend's wanting to keep something that is useful to her, and lots of people she knows, and seems to do very little harm in doing so. (Unless you'd like to inform me about how much damage AIM has done and to whom and please include sources.)
