What kills me is how snotty they were. I wrote ALL the meds I take(you have to when you see a new Dr) and painkillers were only ONE on the list. I also wrote all my conditions and the names of the Dr's that could verify that. The burse/receptionist/whatever called me over and with a HUGE attitude pointed to the painkiller and said "he wont give you that. Do you still want to see him?"

Oh I'm sorry...didnt I write down all the things I suffer from and the reasons for my visit? I SWEAR I did. But I must have spaced and wrote "hey I'm a junkie can I have narcotics" instead. Bitch.

And it isnt just him...Dr's who know very well what I have AND that I have an insanly high tolerance(who have seen this for themselves when I woke up 20 minutes into a 40 minute surgery from anesthesia that should have knocked me out for hours) STILL acted like this.

What do I have to go through to prove that I actually NEED these things and I am not taking them to get high??

The thin that really kills me is that he was talking about sleeping pills,xanax,klonopin....stuff I dont even take. He was perfectly fine with writing scripts for those. Ummm..arent THEY controlled substances/narcotics too???? ANd if I was a junkie looking for a high would I have turned them DOWN???

It just really fucking sucks that I've gone through YEARS of trial and error to find a combination of drugs that help me and STILL I'm given shit about it. Still I find myself in excruciating pain because people OTHER then me take them for fun.

It just isnt fucking fair
