Quote: You act like whores can't have high school sweethearts. This thread is more about the one you had a chance to screw but blew it, as opposed to the one who was THE ONE. I don't believe in staying with your high school sweetheart for the rest of your life. That's no life for anyone unless you're a complete loser who doesn't realize there is an entire world out there at your hands with entirely new experiences.
Wow, you really are a pathetic loser. Good luck going old, bitter and alone.
Not sure how G's statement merited such a jab, but she's 100% right. Of the high school buddies I still keep in touch with that married their 'high school sweethearts', all of them have "the kids and the house," all of them are miserable, and when I run into them they tell me how they're banging everything that moves behind wifey's back because in retrospect they feel they "missed out" on life between ages 18 - 25 in staying faithful. The human species has evolved to its present state only in the pure absence of the man-made concept of monogamy; we're still basically animals but only more recently with the presence of mind to treat each other nicely.
Thus, put an animal in a cage and all they'll think about is breaking free; people are wired for 'exploratory mode' between certain ages, and they get backed up and bottled up if they suppress and deprive themselves of that time. Just an opinion.
