When you pop a dvd into your player it automatically starts counting on the display from zero upwards. If you press the "TIME" button on your remote , it will then show you the time remaining in the first chapter/scene (i.e. -00:10:42), if you press the "TIME" button again it will show you the time remaining in the movie (i.e. -02:05:23), if you press the "TIME" button again it will tell you how much time has elapsed in the chapter/scene you are presently watching (i.e. 00:00:26).
Every time you hit the "TIME" button it will tell you how much time has elapsed in the entire movie, how much time has elapsed in the chapter/scene you are now watching, how much time is left in the chapter/scene you are now watching, and how much time is left in the entire movie.
It makes it easy to know how much time is left in the scene you are watching and how much time is left to go in the entire movie.
Every mainstream movie has this feature and probably 90% of porn dvd's have this feature enabled. To not have this feature on a dvd is not good. It is very simple to implement and the viewer expects it on a dvd. To not have it shows a certain laziness in whoever authored or mastered the disc.
When I pop the disc into the dvd player it only tells me how much time has elapsed in the movie, if I hit the "TIME" button, it only says "NO TEXT" (text means the title of the disc, sometimes when you keep pressing the "TIME/TEXT" it will tell you the movie title, but that's not important) if I hit it again it goes back to telling me how much time has elapsed in the movie.

You need the have these times marked on the dvd so that the viewer knows:

how much time has elapsed in the movie
how much time has elapsed in the scene
how much time is left in the scene
how much time is left in the movie

It's real simple, almost all of the porn dvds have this and have had it for a long time.
