My two cents on the Keith Moon argument? Talent level is irrevalent. We all know he was never Neil Peart or Ginger Baker. But neither was Ringo. They both brought an intangible to their bands (Ringo's personal nature that helped keep the other Beatles from killing each other day after day; Moon's reputation making the Who bigger bad boys than they really were - pre-Townsend/Gary Glitter Days of course).
