Hey guys, this is Gia's friend E... She is so " no maintenance" she really wants a dog BUT she doesn't want one that she has to clean its poop and doesn't want to really pay much attention to it either so if anyone knows a breed of dog that doesn't poop or need any kind of human or animal interaction please let her know.

I think that is called a cat.

Really, a cat that has a scratching post, a litter box, etc. will give occasional companionship. You can select one that looks nice, or pretty, or whatever, and all you have to do is food, water, and litter box maintenance every couple days or so. Even better would be several cats, so they can entertain each other, and guests.

But ask some of your friends, first. Some folks do well with cats, others find something a deal killer. Can you deal with shedding, grooming, etc. or do you need a short haired cat? Charin was very independent, and would have done well with you, but Rasputin was only happy in someone's lap, you would have gotten tired of him.

Maybe a good friend can hook you up with someone whose personality and personal habits will be a good fit with you. But keep in mind, it is a maybe a twenty year commitment.

Good luck.
