Because it's the most popular one- that's all Hollywood cares about. If it works, then they will do the others. That's how things work.

The only way Producers recognize whether a film is good or not is whether it makes any money. The more it makes, the more proof of how good it is. That's why they had a SAW VI planned before SAW V even came out. They just had to remind the studio how much the first 3 made which was proof of how much you guys enjoyed them. And you just watched V as they predicted which means you can't wait for SAW VI.
