Anybody? It's almost over, any predictions?

Hell yes Smut, I have been enjoying these last 2-3 episodes. The season started well then lost a lot of steam until these last few episodes. Now it is really rolling fast. I am thinking that Shane and wife will meet their end at the hands of a third party, like a gangbanger or other criminal with connections to vic. It will either be that or he get caught and rats vic out, ronnie will walk however ( or go to south america).

I love the FX shows- THe Shield, Sons of Anarchy and It's always Sunny. Tuesday thru Fri is FX watching time

Yeah, I hope Ronnie turns out alright. I bet Vic will walk away somehow, and Shane deserves whatever he gets, though I didn't think about somebody else capping Shane. Good point, Cleet.
Sons Of Anarchy finally got good last episode imo, though I'm really only watching to see if they can pull off the whole premise. I like Peggy Bundy's resurgence as Gemma.

The Shield is one of favorite shows ever. If ever there was an example of "sleeper hit", TS would be it. Years go by and your friends will insist you check out this show or that show because "it's got something", ie The Wire, but nothing matches TS for me.

An ex g/f got me hooked circa 2005 after insisting I see a few episodes; wow -- then I inhaled all the prior seasons on DVD to get caught up. I always wondered what was wrong w/ my peers since no one else I knew had really heard of it.

I wonder how much of their viewer base they lost because of the LONG break they took (whats it been like 2.5 years now?) between the prior season and this new one, due to writer's strike and whatever other politics or economics were at play. The way the prior season ended was exceptional and then they just left us hanging forever.

The Shield is fucking awesome. Kind of bummed that it's all about to end. Watched four seasons back to back on DVD in Summer and Fall 2006! Totally hooked.
As far as predictions? Vic kills Shane, and then gets arrested, thereby opening up a new FX show with Mackie in prison. (Yeah right, they both take the dirtnap...)

Thought this year started out very poorly what with all the Armenian vs. Mexican cartel shit.

Got good with the hit on Shane and the Armenians, and especially good with the sequence where Shane's hired hit man is in "the box" (Homicide reference) and Shane scrams just ahead of the reveal...

TS's high points: first episode, last scene, establishes the entire series; fucking Forest Whitaker going Captain Ahab on the white whale Mackey for 1.5 seasons; the last eps of Glenn Close's run; Claudette as the only mostly-honorable person in the Barn; using Magnetic Fields to end an ep (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_21jk9irrM); Dutch Boy strangling a cat in an attempt to understand the mindset of a pyschopath; Shane, Lem and a hand grenade; two scenes involving electric stove burners.
