I was never a Rolling Rock fan, but being from western Pennsylvania (the stuff used to come from Latrobe, not far away) I've been inundated with it since my partying days started. It's ok, but definitely not my fav.

I do enjoy High Life, and a six pack of the pounder cans runs about $6 around here, so it's preferred in a pinch. I believe Charin mentioned Busch as well. This is my fav cheap beer, I can get a 12 pack of cans at the local bar for $8.
