On my way to Weehawken to look after my cats, I walked past the side of the new Times building on 8th & 40th. Curiously there was a line of 35-40 people you walked west up 40th. They people were lined up near the curb behind police-style "DO NOT CROSS" tape.

Much to my surprise, it was people lined up to buy the New York Times. Some were buying several copies. The line was 4-1 or so whites. I guess in a few years it will be a collectors item.



[As a large step on my own progress, I do not buy any. My apartment is full of enough CRAP.]

I'd have suspected they were getting maverick sleeves.
