Since it must have been middle of the night here, I was probably asleep.

I just watched both speeches on CNN. McCain's speech was both respectful and insightful and I think it's a good thing the old man didn't win. Even though the audience was a bunch of abhorrent rednecks.

I was moved/choked by Obama's speech. I don't necessarily agree with all his views or policies, but he radiates inspiration. And he can speech like not many before him. I believe this is a good choice for the US. Live long and prosper. Insha'Allah.
