I was in the middle of nowhere somewhere off the 60E heading twds City of Industry to retrieve the phone I lost at the Spearmint Rhino where I shot last week. My best friend, E, and I were lost and pulled over to a burger joint with a rooster statue in front. It smelled like grease and no one spoke English, but it felt like something, anything since we were so hungry and so far from home. My friend noticed a corner turned down on the Britney Spears poster behind me from when she used to be hot. I got up to get ketchup and saw all the cooks and counter crew squeezed into the only occupied booth other than ours. I ran back and told E that I think the votes are in. The the tv got louder. The Spanish announcer got louder. We kept waiting for an English translation that never came then cheers erupted, distorting the tv's volume. Everyone in the orange and yellow booth started shrieking and jumping on each other. We went over to get a closer look. A million hands waving flags packed the screen. The bottom read: Obama. Presidente Elegido.

I was in my bathtub, watching the CNN Election Coverage, literally shaving my nuts, when it was declared.

Driving to a conference for work, tried listening to CNN and Fox News on Sirius but there was to much "let's look at this" which I couldn't see.

Since it must have been middle of the night here, I was probably asleep.

I just watched both speeches on CNN. McCain's speech was both respectful and insightful and I think it's a good thing the old man didn't win. Even though the audience was a bunch of abhorrent rednecks.

I was moved/choked by Obama's speech. I don't necessarily agree with all his views or policies, but he radiates inspiration. And he can speech like not many before him. I believe this is a good choice for the US. Live long and prosper. Insha'Allah.

Nowhere near the tv, just relieved this mindless 2 year media fueled election madness is over for another 2 years.

I was at home eating Popeye's famous fried chicken & biscuits. I went and got it just before the polls started closing because I thought it might be the last time to get good fried chicken for a few days. If Obama won, no one would probably show up for work the next few days. If Obama somehow lost, rioting would take place.

I was pinching a loaf, I will always remember that little butt brownie because of all of the hot sauce I had with my lunch that day. Ah the memories.

I was sitting in my room with a 40oz of King Cobra in my left hand and a cigarette in my right. I had just finished a game of Dusty Diamond All-Star Softball. I was half-assed listening to the coverage on CNN. Afterwards, I threw a tombstone pizza in the oven and then put on season one of Always Sunny In Philadelphia. It was... well, it was a typical night for me.

I was walking around this warehouse near where I live where they sell cheap food because its often past its expiry date. They reported over the radio in between songs "news just in from America" that Obama had been declared the new president. I was intending to buy a whole lot of frozen dinners for $1.50 each but it looked like they had sold out of the ones I like so I didn't end up buying anything

I had just got in from watching my neighbor's trainwreck mom get carried in by 3 guys. She was wasted on liquor and dust, I suspect. I was sitting on my bed with my laptop on chattin it up with a fellow XPT poster and folding some laundry, while the kids ran around the house screamin Bar-ahk Oobaamaah!...

I had the t.v. on when they declared him the winner, people on my street were screaming and cheering and had fireworks. I went outside to see and got stoned.
