And, Carter surrounding himself with yes-men from his home state instead of some people who knew Washington was HUGE mistake ... and something Obama isn't likely to copy.

You have to be able to get things thru Congress. You need people who can twist arms [like LBJ] or sell their stuff directly to the people to force Congress' hand [like Reagan].
