when your father is a polygamist I am sure in theory you have all kinds of relatives one wouldn't know or want to know....
the bigger problem is we have an illegal immigrant that still qualified for government assistance....after her case for appeal was denied........
should be easy enough to find her right?.....as a tax payer...that is what pisses me off.....at some point our country needs to decide if they are serious about curbing illegal immigration (all can't completely be stopped) but damn it man once they register and get services out government fails us when they say you can't live here but we still will give you benefits for you to live here when you are not supposed to.

Well, according to the article, they've met twice, so he's aware of the man's existence.
I agree when it comes to receiving social services. In my experience, most of the illegals I've met are Mexican workers who are are hard working, industrious bastards and don't receive a penny from the Government. YMMV, of course.

he knows her....but i don't get the impression that she is the type of family member who calls weekly, send gifts for birthdays, and sits down at the thanksgiving table with you....
and Jim I am sure those illegals have at the very least used government services if not taken a check......public schools ...but then they typically have American children...
My hair stylist started out as illegal....and since I tend to not like Americans to do my hair....i have watched her status change from illegal to resident and soon to be American......(in 6 years) and without a dime of government assistance.....

The illegals I knew didn't have kids in this country, but, again, YMMV. I think the situation here in NYC is different than along the border, though.

shit maybe even than in the midwest....we get a lot of children of illegals here in WI and we can usually tell by the way the emergency contact forms are filled out......and when we need to get in contact with a parent.....it is a nightmare...

I think that McCain's work on the immigration bill has hurt him with Hispanics and that is a reason why he's struggling in the southwest.
