Please, King.

As if anyone associated with a presidential campaign isn't investigated by his/her opponents supporters. Sorry, I don't like it myself, but that's American politics in the 21st century.

The times when no one out-ed FDR for being a cripple are long gone.

Remember the "everyday kid" the idiot Democrats had give a radio address? How fast until Bush's people out-ed him for having a scholarship at a high-end private school.

Sorry. It works both ways.

And, you know, King, if Sam the Icon wasn't a fraud and a tax-beat, none of this would matter. But, once again, with a country full of honest, tax-paying, properly licensed "everyman" white guys, McCain chose badly.

Lessons to politicians: Vet your people.

I'm no big Obama fan, and I am nervous about how he's going to do when challenged. But, I think he's better on the economy, and unlike the party currently entrusted with the military, he will likely be less rash and wasteful.

My brother and sister, both of whom will be taxed MORE by Obama than McCain, are voting for Obama anyway.

Both ride me mercilessly about McCain. I gave money to McCain in 2000. Someone else has possessed his body. This isn't the John McCain I respected. He sold out to the very people who maligned him in 2000, somehow bought into an economic plan he found flawed in 2001 and now can't get out of his own way.

He's become a punchline.

You choose to make a person the icon of the "everyman", it would help if something about what you claim he represents is true.

Isn't it the McCain people who make a big deal about who you associate with??? You betcha'!
