I think the large numbers of plain folk showing up at her rallies are there more for her celebrity factor than for any expectation of being inspired or assured about any real issues. If you stick the latest american idol winner in that same situation a week later, the same people would probably be showing up.

Good for her if she can keep climbing the ladder but at this point she's a bigger joke than Dan Quayle or George Bush *ever* were.
