Gee, that sounds familiar. But it's incorrect. They didn't die after FDR and they're not going to die now. And, with voters as fickle as they are, you might just see them take back one of the houses of Congress if Obama can't deliver fast enough. Remember that he will inherit a ton of problems from the current idiot, and the blame for them.

There's precedent for this: Here in NYC, one of the most Democratic cities in the Country, there hasn't been a democrat elected mayor since 1989. Why? David Dinkins inherited a mess from Ed Koch, particularly in terms of crime. Although he enacted reforms that helped drive down the crime rate, the results didn't begin to appear until it was too late. Giuliani ended up getting the credit for ideas that Dinkins and Ray Kelly implemented.
