Fuckin' A yeah!!

All I know is that The Rays finished 2ed up from DEAD LAST (out of ALL of the AL-NL Teams).....Now when they go back and ask the mayor for a new stadium this time.....and if he balks.....they may change their name to the Charlotte Rays (or any other town seeking, wanting and deserving a team).

Any other year I would agree about the stadium. But with the economy in the shitter and little-to-no money going to municipalities from the Feds? I think you'd be hard pressed to find any Mayor who'd gamble his re-election on a bond issue to fund a new stadium.

If the Rays had won Congress would be convening to figure out how to bail out the Las Vegas sports books.
