Not a bad rant, Burg, except the cross is a man made creation both as a symbol and as a torture device in history (i.e. roman and greek civilizations and even prior) which far predated Jesus and friends deciding to declare it their intellectual property and "national symbol". Therefore I'm not sure it's their right to threaten people with post-mortem morality and criminal trials at the pearly gates for "questionable use" of said symbol.
That said I agree that the idea of insulting or laughing at someone, let's say because they sleep with a rock under their pillow in the belief it keeps them safe, doesn't show much humility or tolerance just because we don't share their belief, so +1.
