Yeah, this was actually the race I had in mind, not the top of the ticket. Oregon hasn't gone red in a presidential race since 1984. The scenario just seems a bit too trusting. Having said that, though, it almost sounds preferable to the nightmare that awaits here in NYC Tuesday.
