Do many Jews campaign at the Western Wall? Just curious.

Maybe he's running against Bibi in the upcoming Israeli elections. But, he's up against on that score ... Bubbe Sarah says he doesn't represent "real" Chassids. But, she's got problems ... it seems her peyes cost a few shekels too many ....

I'm not so sure about that: Palestinians Call America for Obama...Quote:
Palestinian Ibrahim Abu Jayab, 24, is seen next to his computer, in his family house in Nusayrat refugee camp, central Gaza Strip, Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008. A young Palestinian in a Gaza refugee camp is doing his part to get out the vote for Barack Obama. With a little help from the Internet, 24-year-old Ibrahim Abu Jayab is cold calling random American families from his parent's home imploring them to vote Obama.

Certainly remarks such as those by Jesse Jackson are providing many Palestinians with fervent optimism of a drastic policy change under an Obama administration.
As long as Hamas are the elected representative of the Palestinians, I don't see much progress in negotiations regardless of who is president. Even the EU won't talk with those idiots. And, if Netanyahu gets in, as I fear he will, forget there even being talks.
Like with Nixon & China, I think it would have to be a person seen as a harsh on Palestine to push a hard deal on Israel - some one Israel sees as a friend and protector. That isn't Obama. I don't see him doing anything at all on Palestine ... or even really trying to. There are too many larger issues at hand. But, I could be proven wrong.
Honestly I put this up as humor with Obama pandering to the Jewish cause. NOT that I think most Jews are supporting him.
Certainly the American Jews and Israelis are far more divided on Obama than their muslim counterparts. Though most muslims are with the Right on abortion and the anti-gay stuff, McCain lost whatever American muslims he had with the "Obama = Muslim = Evil" stuff.
My father and his sister-in-law are of such opposite opinions on Obama that we can't have family stuff together anymore.
Still my favorite "yammy" pictures - called the "Yarmulke Gesture" in some foreign policy circles, and considered a great 'faux pas' if you want Arab support - are those from the British Royal family ... like Prince Phillip when his mom was honored in Israel for helping Jews in Greece during WWII. [How ole Longshanks would turn in his grave].
