No doubt the Sci Fi Channel is already hard at work on a made-for-TV movie on just this subject, wherein a maverick meteorologist (played by some washed up actor) discovers some impending cataclysmic global weather event, and must race against time and the objections of a stereotypical Republican douchebag (played by some guy who was in some popular TV series about 15-20 years ago) who naysays all of his theories and instead looks at the economic repercussions of acting on our hero's findings. Our hero is aided and abetted by some skirt on the inside of the Government department handling the situation who thinks he may be onto something. Throw in some decidedly ropey CGI effects, and prepare yourself for ELECTROSNOWSTORM!!!
