i pretty much ignored this album when it came out but now i find myself really liking this song....

The first Metallica album I heard and owned was "Master of Puppets". It was always my favorite album by them. I had it on cassette and played it in my walkman while I read comic books. I think I was in 8th or 9th grade at the time.

For whatever reason "Ordinary Man" had been popping though my head a the last week or so. Did a Wiki search on them. Gil Moore is quite the success story and Rik Emmett is running around doing acoustical sets. You always hear the tales of not quite reaching the brass ring and crashing and burning after. It's nice to hear the occasional story of the ones who keep playing because they want to, not because they have to.
