If you like candle mass BDM you may enjoy confessor. Although they vocals are rather incongruous almost like the singer and the rest of the musicians think they are in different bands

More doom.

I do like confessor. Reminds of 80s Metal Blade bands.
Crowbar sounds like a good band for gothic horror movie soundtracks.

Those crowbar tracks are not typical. They had a gimmick for awhile where they'd have one moody track with no heavy guitars on each album.
