A Canadian man who contracted genital warts in 2003 due to risky (unprotected) sexual behavior is suing his health insurance carrier for failing to cover over $200,000 in medical bills stemming from partial paralysis due to the disease. At issue is whether this condition was the result of an 'accident' or whether contracting an STD was simply foolish and unlucky.
