The backwards "B" really makes no sense unless she scratched it into her face while looking in a mirror

Well, again, it wouldn't be the first time a photo got reversed in the media. Nor is the source of the photo clear. The Trib labels it "submitted," but there's no indication as to who submitted it.

Maybe she had the wherewithal to apply pressure and ice to the bruised area while she was driving around trying to remember where the attacked happened and that is why her eye is not swollen in the picture.

Or maybe it was applied after she eventually went to the hospital. Again, there's no indication as to who took the photo or at what point it was taken.

Have you ever heard of a robber like this asking for a specific amount and not "gimme your wallet/purse"?

It doesn't say he asked for $60. It says he took $60. As the Trib article states:

Quote:

(the)man approached her, put a knife to her throat and demanded money.

Todd told police she handed the man $60 she had in her pocket and stepped away from him. The man then noticed the bumper sticker on her car, which was parked in front of the ATM, and became angry, she told police.

I fund it odd that she couldn't remember where the attack happened but was mentally alert enough to blog about it 3 hours later.

I wouldn't characterize her one sentence statement on Twitter about a "rough night" as "blogging about it."

In fairness, it's entirely possible that she was attacked by someone else, and that this had nothing to do with McCain/Obama. Covering for one's attacker (especially if they are known to the victim) is also not uncommon amongst victims of assault. That's a matter for the Police to investigate. What I do question is the notion that she did it to herself, as part of some grand conspiracy to discredit Obama.
