I think the 'gubment' should get out of the marriage business. As Doug Stanhope says "Gay marriage? Fuck you! Straight marriage? Fuck you, too!"
We have it up here now and the country did not implode as a result (This from a country who changed its anthem to add the word 'god'.) If you wanna have a little party and say some vows, knock yourself out. I just can't understand why a free country is so freaked out by what consenting adults do. It is truly strange...
