Can someone please put together some sort of Porn Dictionary for the people who are guessing. I mean some of this stuff is a real stretch of the imagination. What if the board elected a sort of "steward" to compile the list and have a panel of say three to determine if the entry is even valid. This could be used as a basis for people who might be somewhat...full of shit. Im just saying it would be nice to have a file of reference for some of the verbage and nomenclature used around here. Any thoughts?

If you are not at all familiar with wrestling I can see how the camel clutch would be confusing. The only reason I know about it is from playing video games. It isn't really a porn term and I challenge you to find evidence of a camel clutch ever being administered in porn.

This thread has just reminded me of a question that I have been dying to ask but completely forgot about.

What does 'apple' mean when used just prior to filming? I have seen the term used twice in documentaries on TV, both times on Vivid sets. Both movies were directed by Paul Thomas, and both were versions of Debbie Does Dallas, if that makes any difference.

Examples:

"Ten-Apple Take One"

"Eleven-Apple-Apple Take Two"

I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the slate/shot number, but if anyone could shed any extra light on it (like someone who has worked on one of PT's sets, for example), I would be most grateful.

Thanks for the replies...I already knew what an applebox was, but it never occured to me that this is what they were refering to.

Is it just for extra 'coverage' footage, or does it have a more specific purpose, such as softcore footage or when Vivid was going through that 'multiple angle option' phase (which they could still very well be going through for all I know..I haven't checked out one of their DVDs in years! )?
