I have problems with tendinitis.

I am right-handed and I can barely use my mouse anymore.

The only treatments my doctor has suggested are prohibitive. I use nitroglycerin cream and a counter irritant called Zostrix.

The nitro works really well but I keep macing myself with the Zostrix.

Please tell me about any tendinitis treatments which have worked for you.

I had it in my leg and it was a bitch. All my doctor had me on was big doses of anti inflammatories (aspirin) and it did work. The body is real efficient in flushing it out after 10-12 hours.

If you have flexor tendititis, rest is real important and after that possible a cortisone shot might help.

In all seriousness dude, switch hands for a while. It will seem awkward at first, but you will get used to it.

Before you complain that you can't do it, I've been where you're at, and it works if you're determined enough.

Also, lots of ibuprofin helps.

I'm no doctor, I just play one on TV, and I know this sounds like a default answer.. I would not recommend using aspirin without consulting a doctor first, the reason being aspirin is a blood thinner by nature and it has been shown to have a "common side effect," with ringing in the ears is one of the most common problems.

Are you seeing a General or specialist? One might recommend jaw exercises and a vitamin regime first off.

Mine? I learned to just live with it, the less I pay attention to it, the better.

I had to have t-mobile disable my web browser on my phone because of it. no lie. my hand has gotten better.

Find some stretches and exercises for both arms once you feel better. There are several on Youtube. An ounce of prevention etc etc.

I have been doing them. I am using a computer program that forces me to take rests and shows exercises during the rest time.

Every 5 minutes I take a 45 second break and every 30 minutes I take a 5 minute break. The program locks my keyboard and mouse.

Also to reduce impact I put a foam pad under my keyboard.

I am still searching for the right mouse. All the ones I have are for gaming and generally tend to be heavier then normal.

Trying to find a light, comfortable mouse with at least 6 buttons.
