I had it in my leg and it was a bitch. All my doctor had me on was big doses of anti inflammatories (aspirin) and it did work. The body is real efficient in flushing it out after 10-12 hours.

If you have flexor tendititis, rest is real important and after that possible a cortisone shot might help.
