Does anyone know if there are any porn companies that are based out of or shoot in the NYC area? Porn used to be a Bi coastal thing and I was wondering if there are any still on the east coast. I know that there used to be some Bondage sand S+M stuff shot here but does anybody know of anything else.

I ran across Black Mirror Productions a while back but wasn't sure what to make of it. It's a NYC thing however.

Cool, Thanks Jrv- I was thinking that it had All tranferred to the West Coast but I guess there are a few still here which is good to see. I wonder why most of the big companies are out West, are the laws for shooting much different than back east? You would think that if a few companies sprang up in NY area than it could become quite a little industry here again. There has too be no shortage of hot girls from the East coast like Kami who would be able to appear in said flicks without having to travel to Cali all the time- variety is the spice of life.

I wish they would putt an aim out here, i have a list of a few shooters over here, if your trying to help your friend out I can pass it on, the problem is you don't have the community you have in LA so it's less safe if you don't know the players. I have never shot hardcore on the east coast for one reason and another.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking Kami, if a few decent size companies would either start up here or have a "branch office" on the east coast it might start a ripple effect where all the periphery businesses could spring up here too ( like a testing site, modelling agencies and other side industries). Too bad I wasn't rich or i would get the ball rolling.

you know we need a direct models out here, i meet lots of talent that says there are no jobs and lots of shooters who say there is no talent. i need a new york daddy. What I love about LA is that my agency tells me what i need what will happen and drops me off there, no suprises (usually) and I know they will take care of me and nothing bad will happen.

Coast to Coast is still based in NY,but they shoot out here.Pleasure is based in NJ.
