Well seriously, you know WHY I specifically mentioned NEWPORT beach? Because, as fucked up as it seems and sounds, I have never been CLOSER to being able to outright BUY a nice house right on the Peninsula as I am right now in this GOD awful economy. There are a plethora of foreclosed domiciles that the banks are YEARNING to unload at ridiculous fractions of the former values....I am going to be in COsta Mesa in November and I am planning on having some serious chats with several banks and their loan officers/DAMAGE CONTROL teams to see what i can talk them into or out of....if a bank is offering a (formerly $950k house) for a steep discount, I am going to go in and offer (paid in full, NO financing or loans) 65-70% of whatever that steep discount is...maybe even LESS if I can find some sketchy problems or detriments about the property.
I feel good about my chances of one of these desperate fuckers saying "YES!! YES!! Please, take this fucking thing off my books, have it with our complments! Thank you Thank you sir, now my slutty gold digging wife who is fucking the Mexican Pool Guy will be able to enjoy another week of Manicures across the bay on Fashion island, before she flat out dumps my ass and takes half of what i got left, which aint much, and is my ONLY satisfaction knowing SHE knows we aint got much left....by the way Mr Burglar would you like a complimentary CountryWide Coffee Mug and some WaMu pens?
