LOL, that was the only language we heard the first half hour or so! I imagine they're especially out in force now with the dollar being so weak.

I haven't gotten dirty in the AZ wilderness hardly at all, though that may change here this winter. Thanks for the compliments all, I've got a good navigator by my side now, so there'll be more of these trips to come.




Actually attendance from German tourists there doesn't seem to fluctuate much with the dollar - they somehow get there regardless. They're obsessed with the GC like moths to flame, perhaps because it's the extreme opposite end of the kind of landscape they're used to. Case in point the signage is even english/german and has been so for decades (instead of english/spanish like anywhere else).
