^^yeah, right? kind of like how i didn't get to go to my own prom (because no one asked me) even though i was head of the prom committee. this insured that i lived and breathed PROM for nine months... i spent the actual night holding an economy-sized bottle of tylenol, trying to get up the balls to kill myself

Thread derailment alert: No one asked me to prom either, Gigi. Except my gay friends, but I declined because it would look like a cop-out on my part since they were openly gay. I spent the night studying for an exam. I weighed less than 100 lbs and felt too fat for any dress out there anyway.

I had a high school chick friend who was a barfer....she used to come over at night and basically hang out in my room, she felt safe with me. She even let me watch her eat Devil Dogs and Ho-ho's and then purge in my toilet. Only problem was, My little borhter would always yell out "Ewww, did someone Puke in here?" My moms became suspicous and made me keep the door open to the bedroom, I think she thought I was getting blow jobs and then she (my friend) was barfing up the splooge or something sick like that.
Onetime she ate a whole half of a LARGE carrot cake my Mom made, then barfed it up while I watched. When we flushed we didnt watch it clear out totally and we left and went to a movie.
I came home that night and My mother was waiting for me and demanded to know (1) what the fuck happend to the carrot cake, "Your Father was upset, he wanted dessert and there was only Jello"....and (2) why was the toilet water Orange, "Did you throw the carrot cake Out?"
Stupid parents, it should have been obvious we didnt throw it OUT, but UP instead.
My friend died in 1989 ...popped a blood vessel while trying to barf up a Prime Rib Dinner at her Step sisters wedding....festive huh?

yep, the chemistry teacher. one of the social studies' teachers also hated me so much that when my now-husband and i started dating two years after we had graduated from high school, she looked him up and called him AT COLLEGE to tell him to please stay away from me and that i was no good.

i tried bulimia but i totally sucked at it. the only way i could get a decent purge was if my friend carrie did it for me. something in the way she twisted her fingers inside my throat or something... worked every time. for awhile i would plan mcdonald's binges around when i was going to be at her house.

A catholic HS that didnt have a fucking prom cause the cheap whores didnt want to spend the money, so I never had one anyway, brings me back to Sixteen Candles when she's w/Annie Potter and they talk about the girl who never went to prom having issues as an adult.

No, past tense. I THOUGHT eating was gross. Ironically, I was a huge cum gobbler then as well. I never got labeled as a slut. The trick was to mess around with guys from different schools then LIE about which school I attended. That way, I would never lose status with my female friends at my school. Not like I was immensely popular, but no one wants to be the beta chick.
Over the years, my palette has developed into huge food snobbery. Restaurants, menus, ingredients are all obsessions for me. I admit sometimes I'm ocd pre-occupied by restricting it depending on what's going on in my life. I will never escape my unhealthy relationship with eating, but it's better than it was 15 years ago. Or 2 weeks ago. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Sorry Gigi and Gia I wish I could have taken you to prom!  Although I was very geeky back in high school. John Mayer said he didn't get a date for prom either and spent the night in his bedroom practising his guitar instead

Be honest, was the problem with prom that nobody asked you or nobody you wanted to go with asked you? You are both attractive so I'm guessing a few guys that you didn't want to go with asked and you said no.
A friend of mine had an all time shitty prom story. He took some girl he had a crush on for 3 years. He got a limo, hotel room, drinks, the whole deal. They went to an after party and she fucked some other guy. Oh and she fucked the guy in the hotel room my buddy paid for. Brutal.
