My polling place in suburban Queens was guarded by an armed white member of New York's finest. He was very friendly.




There weren't any blacks there that I noticed. Just whites, a variety of asians and a Hispanic or two. But, it seemed mostly whites and Koreans. There a a Sikh who was the Republican challenger. He offered me a chocolate chip cookie while I waited to vote which I declined.
