Don't be so sure. A number of presidential races really haven't been decided until the final weekend before the election. '68 and '76 and '80 come to mind. That's when all the undecideds make a choice. If McCain keeps it close to the margin of error until that weekend, he'll have a real shot at winning. Reagan was behind in every poll in the week leading up to the '80 election, then he kicked Carter's ass.



Believe me, I want to be wrong on this. So I hope you called it right. Senators have never been my favorite kind of Presidential candidates. I'm not crazy about either one of these two, but I really don't want to see one party controlling both houses of congress, and the White house. Also as a veteran, I tend to lean towards voting for another veteran. I don't think that being a veteran is necessarily a qualification, but something about Obama's past associations, just rubs me the wrong way. (Bill Aires etc..) I don't trust him.
