We already have a ton of threads debating the issues, and explaining opposing stand points, but it would be cool to see who everyone's voting for in the Presidential election. I did a search and couldn't find a thread like this, so have at it. No explanations, no arguments, just list who you're voting for and let's see who XPT would put into office.

I already voted in the US election. Democratic ticket.
Additionally I voted against improving Pennsylvania's water quality and septic service as I have always found it to be adequate.
In the Canadian election I will probably take patty's lead and vote marijuana. That is if I remember to vote.
Hint to people who are campaigning in Canada: If you send a representative to my apartment building to knock on my door then I will not be voting for you. If you want my vote don't bother me about it. Use the buzzer in the lobby to contact me if you are hoping for an interaction that won't be hostile.

I'm a registered independent, but I vote R most of the time. after the last debate mccain left me nonplussed. total let down, no backbone and unless there is a massive Bradley effect in play it's bo's election to lose. as an aside, brokaw is a fucking clown and should never be allowed to host a town hall/debate again, god he was awful. brokaw=broken record - stfu tom, no one showed up to listen to you you fucking dinosaur.
still, I'm more comfortable with jm as pres than bo, so there's my vote. and for all those that ask "how can you like/participate/mod a porn board and still vote for a Rep.?" my answer is, the laundry list of issues that I consider when choosing whom I vote for, "porn" is pretty low on the list. not to say I agree with all that shit against max because I don't, but still, among my concerns cowboy hatted speculum urineporn and heroin eyeshadowed loliporn is low on my list.

If possible I'll write in Ron Paul otherwise either McCain or Barr (Bob not ack Obama). I really hate the idea of a Democratic president with a filibuster proof and veto overiding majority Democratic Congress who will be putting a Democratic majority in the S.C. before the next election. Absolutely no checks or balances and we've seen how well that has worked so far this millenium.

That's when all the undecideds make a choice. If McCain keeps it close to the margin of error until that weekend, he'll have a real shot at winning. Reagan was behind in every poll in the week leading up to the '80 election, then he kicked Carter's ass.

Pretty, in some states you can write in somebody's name if they don't appear on the ballot. That's what I'm doing. So is Perv.
She's not the candidate, though, so you'll have to write her in if that's who you want to vote for.
Call your local Board of elections to see if you can write in in your area.

Believe me, I want to be wrong on this. So I hope you called it right. Senators have never been my favorite kind of Presidential candidates. I'm not crazy about either one of these two, but I really don't want to see one party controlling both houses of congress, and the White house. Also as a veteran, I tend to lean towards voting for another veteran. I don't think that being a veteran is necessarily a qualification, but something about Obama's past associations, just rubs me the wrong way. (Bill Aires etc..) I don't trust him.

I wrote in Ron Paul today. On the local side I split about half and half between R and D. There were a shitload of unopposed races on my ballot though. Mostly piddly stuff that should be appointed anyways like county clerk and sheriff. Could someone explain to me why police commissioners are hired, i.e. appointed, yet sheriffs are elected? And why are we electing who is going to be in charge of the file cabinets and copy machine at the court house, i.e. county clerk. Wouldn't anyone that specialized in office training at the local Vo-Tech school work as well as anyone else?

despite the problems I have with some of his politics.....I voted Obama....(actually I usually vote Democrat at the top of the ticket and go Republican on more local offices)
but then again...who am I to stand in the way of a black man seeking an honest job...
I eventually got my signs and things from the Obama office....the campaign project I assigned actually resulted in about 40 students (out of 90) being inspired to volunteer at the two offices and actually stomp the pavements for both candidates...

the president of the black panthers acknowledged having many bp members at various polling stations (sans nightstick I presume), but that particular station in philly wasn't one of the ones they organized so it may have been an unauthorized, rogue panther.
