I wanted to see what people thought of the fact that (at least in straight porn, I'm not familiar with other genres) the cumshot is 99% of the time an image of the man MASTURBATING. I find this completely counter-intuitive. Porn is for the vast majority of users, fantasy material. I am looking to it for images of stuff I like to imagine happening to me. Well, I can't imagine having tons of great sex with gorgeous women, and then stopping and jerking off at the end. I can already jerk off, thank you very much. And the sheer ubiquitousness of it seems either lazy or oddly ritualistic or both.
Is there some reason we can't just see women getting men off? I think that in a highly sexualized context like porn it would make a lot more sense.
