Hmm, not porn related whatsoever, but looking for some pointers on Canon's mid-range line of video cameras. I used to do a little shooting 4-6 years ago, but it was always handi-cam shit. With the cameras getting smaller these days; or these new-fangled 'Hard Drive' cameras becoming so popular, I prefer to relegate my interest to tapes, still.

Anyway, anyone have any input on either of these models? They are both about $3300 each (exc. accessories), however one is HD and the other just 24P (?). I'm kind of new to the big stuff, but I wanted something I can hold onto for 10 years, give or take, hence why I'd rather invest the extra money. I don't need the biggest & best by any means, just something in the middle to satisfy my yearn to capture footage while on the road - as opposed to stills.

Not necessarily interested in non-Canon models, but open to suggestion.
