A lot of these issues about McSame's past are already out there and are coming out.
Correct, which leads me to this question: What does pro-Obama pundit-touting have to do with John McCain the man and his record? Can McCain and his record not stand alone? Must his record never be judged as simply what it is -- a clear and definitive tally of the legislative decisions he's made to date -- and nothing more?
The arguments that Obama is too liberal and that he lacks the experience one would need to run the U.S. are very fair, and, rightfully, he's had to spend the better part of this campaign season addressing them. And, of course, Reverend Wright. All fair game, and he should be forced to address the Wright issue in particular till he's horse and blue (or more purple) in the face.
I get why conservatives are annoyed with the unrelenting pro-Obama (pro-blank slate) press coverage, I really do. I lean left, and even I’m annoyed by it. Still, McCain and his record should get a free pass because a number of pundits and a shitload of easily moved, starry-eyed college students happen to be secreting love juice all over themselves in support of the black guy with big ears? Seems a little ridiculous.
And don't even get me started on that nutbar Palin.

Random, did you read the article in the New Times about McCain by Amy Silverman? I remember the incident with Barry Goldwater, tho I was just a foolish Brophy boy at the time.
I did not. You got a link?
