That would almost certainly be a collusive business practice and thereby an unlawful restraint of trade, which would bring the FTC and others into the picture. That issue aside, some producers would not abide by the agreement, would offer more $, and thus get the top talent. The colluding producers would end up with scabby crack ho's.



Naturally it would be a collusive business practice…but who would honestly look into the matter…..some pw complain to their congressman……give me a break.

You’re also forgetting about where the origins of the “adult” film business started or at least how the mainstream media’s portrayal of its beginnings…. It was very much corrupt and slightly mobbed up…..I am sure if someone got out of line and decided to pay more for a top whore…..they might get a visit……end up in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center or someplace worse like the morgue.

Then again maybe I watch too many Martin Scorsese & Francis Ford Coppola movies.
