Back before Voyeur Prod, Jules Jordan, PlatinumX, RLD, Combat Zone, Zero Tolerance and countless other houses of good content were ever spawned, Anabolic/Diabolic were pumping great content out fast and furious, with many of today's great shooters having started there before splitting off into the other startups in search of greater fame, fortune and the promise of profit sharing and owning their lines.
For recent years it's seemed like Anabolic/Diabolic has been stuck in the weeds as far as output - the occasional update to some of their older lines here and there (i.e. Spring Chickens, Un-Natural Sex), along with the occasional odd and dated content acquired from europe and rebadged. Now they're venturing into Bluray territory with a few releases which is promising, but they're still a far cry from the glory days. Anyone have a clue what happened? Or is this a dumb question since the economics of adult production companies rise and fall with the tide, combined with a revolving door of high employee turnover?
It seems like they were the launch pad for a lot of people and companies that followed them and have names now, some of whom carried the Anabolic shooting style with them out there.
