They've all done commercials- especially the Country guys. They've been shilling flour and lard and sausage and motor oil and any thing else you can imagine since before there was a such thing as Rock & Roll.

As to the George Jones show- the handbill says they are going to broadcast/show a "musical documentary" about Conway Twitty as the opening act. I'm not much on musicals, even if they open with... "Hello Darling..." I love Conway in a historical sense but I'm even weaker on watching a movie musical for an hour before seeing the Possum. I've got a quart mason jar of "white lightning" that I will consume if I go, though.
