From the Terrace was ripped to shreds by the critics, but I always thought it was one of his good movies. Check it out sometime. TMC shows it once in a while.

I am glad it seems everyone here liked the man, how could you not. He seemed a very bright and kind man and one of the few Hollywood liberals that backed up their speech and politics with actions. A great actor and Man, RIP. He will be missed.

He was a man among boys for sure. Happily(and faithfully!!) married for 50 years and gave hundreds of millions(ALL the profits from his Newmans Own line) to charity.
He will be greatly missed.
The Sting is one of my favs!

Newman was awesome, Butch Cassidy's a classic, but I always loved him in The Hudsucker Proxy too. Gigi- Did you know he was from Shaker Heights? And that he was Doc in Cars? I was hitting IMDB pretty hard today.
