If McCain wins the Omaha district by a close margin the dems will fight in the courts and streets to have it flipped to Obama giving him a 270-268 win.
The result would most likely end up like Florida in 2000 but they need the whole "these poor black/old/jewish voters were screwed" sentiment to be strong in the party because if it goes to congress it's a whole new ballgame.

As someone who lives in the hell hole known as Michigan, I can tell you that Obama will win by 5% or more.
The voter fraud that goes on in Detroit won't matter since Obama has a comfortable lead in the rest of Wayne County and the parts of Oakland County that people live in.
I live right by Ann Arbor and that city and the towns around it will go 99.9999% for Obama.

Non-story just Olberman trying to make a mountain out of a molehill, both sides have been pulling this type of shit in Macomb, Wayne Counties and some parts of Oakland County for years.

Yeah, it was Macomb County, but Olbermann wasn't the source. I can't recall where I read it, though.
Again, I'm making no judgement on the veracity of the story, and I think both sides are capable of skulduggery. Just throwing it out there.

Not saying that she's the sharpest knife in the drawer by any means. But W. came in with Poppy's people to help him push an agenda. If Palin took over, she'd be forced to deal with McCain's people, whom I suspect would be working at cross purposes from her own. And I wouldn't bet on a Democratic Senate allowing her to replace McCains more moderate Republican advisors with her own far right religious people. She'd pretty much be a lame duck her entire time.

Some GOPsucker decided to suspend my campaign and stole my Obama sign right outta my front yard. I'm fucking pissed, and I'm going to the local campaign office to buy several more.
I don't care which party you are, stealing political signs while trespassing should be a federal offense.

XXXBit ran into the same problem when she was seeking materials for her Civics class. Unbelievable.
I've worked many Democratic campaigns and had trouble giving lawn signs away.
Having said that, though, "Neighborhood Beautification" projects like the one Viz experienced have been a tradition amongst Young Dems and Young Reps for generations. I would opt for posters for your window, instead, so they can't nab 'em.
