Meanwhile the Dodgers, with NO hitting, shut down the Phillies and sweep them, while Joe Torre, the Anti-Pinella Sleeps throught the entire series. Ryan Howard strikes out 11 times in the 3 games, and has his Subway Endorsement deal revoked. The Dodgers THEN sweep the Mets, allowing Joe Torre to give a Big "FUCK YOU" to the City of New York and The New York Jankity JANKEEs.

Over in the American League, this is the year of the Angels. NO one else is worth mentioning as a potential winner.
