hey bitches! just got back from D.C.; wanted to thank all of you from the vacation advice. we had a blast... georgetown was just SICK, the korean war memorial made me cry, vietnam war memorial kind of sucks, the five year-old almost fell into the reflecting pool= comedy... the kids' favorite places were the air & space and natural history museums-- well, those and the food court at the ronald reagan complex . we took the metro--first time the kids had been on a subway, which was cool... took one of those open-top bus tours (with the company charin recommended; thank you) and got whacked in the head with a tree branch somewhere in kalorama. watched "tropic thunder" on pay-per-view in our hotel room and fell asleep by 9:30 every night. thanks to stoli, sho'nuff, bornyo, willie, dino, xxxhibit, charin, and everybody else who had ideas. by the time we got there, i already kind of felt like i knew what i was doing. well until the tree branch knocked me out, anyway.
